WordPress 3.0 Stable Version Released

As you know wordpress is a most popular CMS for blogging and other use.

After release non stable version, now wordpress.org release version 3.0.

As wordpress.org said, this have some Highlights Features:

  • WordPress and WordPress MU have merged, allowing the management of multiple sites (called Multisite) from one WordPress installation.
  • New default theme “Twenty Ten” takes full advantage of the current features of WordPress.
  • New custom menu management feature, allows creation of custom menus combining posts, pages, categories, tags, and links for use in theme menus or widgets.
  • Custom header and background APIs.
  • Contextual help text accessed under the Help tab of every screen in the WordPress administration.
  • Ability to set the admin username and password during installation.
  • Bulk updating of themes with an automatic maintenance mode during the process.
  • Support for shortlinks.
  • Improved Custom post types and custom taxonomies including hierarchical (category-style) support. (Try the Custom Post Type UI or GD Custom Posts And Taxonomies Tools plugins to see the possibilities.)
  • A lighter admin color scheme to increase accessibility and put the focus more squarely on your content.

Import RSS (Blog) to Facebook

Tentu ada banyak hal yang bisa dilakukan dengan facebook, salah satunya adalah mengimport RSS entah itu Blog atau RSS lainnya ke facebook Anda.

Import blog nantinya akan dikategorikan dalam Note.

Berikut cara dan langkah-langkah import RSS ke Facebook:

  1. Klik lah Application Settings di menu Account (sebelah kanan atas).

  2. Klik lah Notes yang ada di list atau di daftar halaman Application Settings.ScreenHunter_02 Apr. 26 19.12
  3. Lihatlah panel Notes Settings. Klik lah link Edit import settings.

  4. Selanjutnya Anda akan di hantarkan kehalaman untuk pengaturan RSS import ke facebook, :) nah tinggal di cari RSS atau dari blog Anda.

Memasangkan domain sendiri pada blogspot.com / blogger.com

Mengupdate Konfigurasi Blogger anda

Masuklah kebagian tab Settings >> Publishing di Blogger anda.

Jika anda sudah di halaman Publishing anda tinggal mengklik link Custom Domain di halaman tersebut.

Selanjutnya isikan pada kolomnya nama domainnya (kami anjurkan di isi bukan langsung main prefix nya tapi isikan berupa subdomain, misalkan www.domain.com atau blog.domain.com sehingga nanti domain akan bisa dan mudah digunakan di masa yang akan datang)

Perubahan pada Domain anda

Ubahlah cname entry domain anda ke: ghs.google.com

Pengubahan dilakukan terhadap subdomain  atau entry doman yang dipakai misal www.domain.com berarti ke entry DNS www, kalau blog.domain.com berarti cname yang dirubah adalah cname blog.domain.com

Untuk lebih lanjut mungkin anda minta bantuan aja ke tempat anda memberli domain :)
