Make your visitor back to your blog again ;)

Now you can install this plugin directly from your dashboard: Plugins -> Add New, and search for wordpress comment auto responder.

Language: English – Bahasa Indonesia

This plugin will send a automatic mail message when you visitor leave a comment on your wordpress blog.

Other feature of this plugin is when you reply your visitor comment from your dashboard this plugin will make automatic message and will tell to your visitor that their comment has replied.

How To Install

Heuheu, just activate this on your dashboard and it will work for you.

MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THIS DECLARED AT YOUR FOOTER:

How To Configure

Go to you Settings section on your dashboar, look for “WP Comment Auto Responder”.

Then click it and you will see a page like this:

What you can do with this plugin options?

  • You can make your own message for auto responder
  • You can use special tags on you message
  • You can make mail signature for your message
  • And More

This is not final, i’ll improve this plugin and make more feature for it.

    • Ok :) i think u using PHP 4.x, but dont worry you do not need upgrade you PHP. I have added some function on version 1.5 so you still can use my plugin on PHP 4.x. Please upgrade your plugin from Dashboard

  9. I have a problem with International characters like óéíú they appear completely broken in the e-mail auto responder.

    Oh by the way your site takes ages to load. =) Good plugin I was waiting for something like this.

  11. Back again!
    But first: the link to your wordpress plugin is wrong.
    Back to the plugin (1.5 in PHP4)
    It now works. But the mail I get has the following From: $fromname , where xxxxxx is my providers name.
    I suggest that $fromname and $from.at.etc be user definable.

    VERY usefull plugin! Just – I have exactly the same problem like already mentioned above:
    Me regional CZECH characters, like ?š??žýáíé, appear broken in the e-mail. Something wrong with the UTF-8 encoding? Could you please fix it?

    • He2 ga juga sih mas, dia ngereply per komentar masuk. Secara default plugin ini hanya akan mengeksekusi komentar tertanggal plugin diinstall atau hari2 selanjutnya kecuali mas set tanggalnya jauh sebelum itu mungkin aja akan ada antrian komentar :) soalnya walaupun banyak anttrian tapi tetap yang diproses satu persatu :) biar server ga berat

  40. Is there any way to just allow the plugin to send emails when replying to a comment? I don’t want to email commenters when their comment is approved, just when I make a reply. Thanks!

  43. kenapa pluginnnya tidak bekerja ya..? jika saya “send test e-mail” (menggunakan e-mail saya yg lain/ bukan admin) lalu saya pencet tulisan “send mail” kemudian beberapa saat diatasnya tertulis “Email is sent succesfully…” tapi e-mail tidak pernah sampai. Kenapa bisa begitu? mohon petunjuk. Salam kenal dari Surabaya

    i got a error,

    SELECT `meta_value` FROM `wp_bmtvv2_postmeta` WHERE `post_id` = AND `meta_key` = ‘wp_car_tag’ LIMIT 1

    i change to

    $postmeta_row = $wpdb->get_row(“SELECT `meta_value` FROM `$table_postmeta` WHERE `post_id` = ‘$comment_post_ID’ AND `meta_key` = ‘wp_car_tag’ LIMIT 1″);
    $post_tag = $postmeta_row->meta_value;

    before chance the line is ” . $comment_post_ID . ”

    i made this change because the bots archiving this error… can you help me ?

  50. I am using the most up to date WordPress version (which is currently 2.8.5) and version 3.0 of the Comment Autoresponder plugin but when I activate the plugin I am receiving the following error on my site:

    WordPress database error: [You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'AND `meta_key` = 'wp_car_tag' LIMIT 1' at line 1]
    SELECT `meta_value` FROM `wp_postmeta` WHERE `post_id` = AND `meta_key` = ‘wp_car_tag’ LIMIT 1

    I can see from the comments above that I am not the only person experiencing this problem. Please let us know when this has been fixed and an update is available as I am really excited to start using this plugin, its exactly what I was looking for.

    • I think that problem caused by wrong parameter on your wordpress database, i’ve tried two of my blog but i didn’t find that problem.
      Please check this line:
      $table_comment = $wpdb->prefix . “comments”;

      If you have different table please change it.

      Or please email your blog password or your cpanel password to me (ceo.ahlul [at] yahoo.com) i’ll fix it for free.

    • masih belum menyelesaikan masalah, sepertinya ini juga berhubungan dengan perintah selanjutnya $postmeta_row = $wpdb->get_row(“SELECT `meta_value` FROM `$table_postmeta` WHERE `post_id` = “.$comment_post_ID.” AND `meta_key` = ‘wp_car_tag’ LIMIT 1″);

      It looks like the ‘post_id’ is null for some reason? Any thought would be greatly appreciated.

  69. Looks to me a great plugin. I have just installed it. used the “email send test” option and it worked but in actual when someone leave a comment and when someone else reply to that comment, it does not generate the email. No email is received to the commenter.

    koq begitu saya lihat di comment-nya gak ada tulisan reply-nya yah ??
    cara instalnya hanya tinggal diaktifasi aja kan yah dari admin page ??
    apa mungkin karena crash dengan plugin lain yang saya instal

  82. Pluginnya cocok nih sama kebutuhan saya. Cuma sebelum pasang mau tanya dulu.
    Itu email notifikasi nya cuma buat reply komentar langsung ya (maksudnya nested comment harus diaktifkan)? Bisakah dipakai dipakai kalau tidak nested comment seperti blog saya yang masih modus serial ala jaman dulu. :)

      Ok, for your problem i think you can check your theme.
      Make sure at the footer you have this declared:

  98. Mas, blakangan ni plugin malah bikin blog saya forbidden mas..
    Jadi plugin ini ngirim email balasan ke visitornya bisa sampe 120an email / lebih dalam satu waktu..
    Dan otomatis firewall hosting saya langsung aktif dan alhasil blog saya di forbidden..

  173. I want to know how to change the “sender’s name” to my website name..

    I sent a few test emails, and when I received it it says “Site Admin” instead of baking chic…

    When I send the emails through my email server, it shows baking chic, but not when it is sent through the automated plugin..

    Any ideas? Please help!
